Scope of activity:

1. Conduct experimental work related to the agrotechnology of flax, hemp and other plants, including activities that are in line with the requirements of sustainable organic farming.
2. Conduct construction and adaptation work and small batch experimental production related to agricultural, retting and spinning machinery and equipment, non-woven products, recycling, biomass management and herb processing.
3. Conduct technical, service and production activities related to the manufacture of flax, hemp and other natural and chemical fibres.
4. Contract flax and hemp cultivation.
5. Implement and disseminate the results of the experimental work conducted at the department.
6.  Perform tasks commissioned by the Management of the Institute.

LENKON Experimental Department in Stęszew sells its finished products on customer request and provides reworking services using textile and spinning machines. The advantages of short fibre have a significant effect on the technological process in the production facility.

LENKON has the capacity to produce flax and hemp ropes, yarns (cords), flax and hemp fibre, decorticated fibre, tow, flax and hemp non-wovens and shive.

Currently, the facility sells finished products.
