Research Unit for Innovation at the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants - National Research Institute
The aim of the “Research Unit for Innovation at the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants - National Research Institute – popularisation of scientific developments and promotion of innovation” project is to increase the recognition of the work and scientific achievements of the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants - National Research Institute and promote innovative solutions developed in the facility.
Mission of the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants - National Research Institute
The main idea of the Institute is to develop and implement innovative solutions for the development of agriculture and bioeconomy. Acting within the scope of its competences, the Institute shares knowledge and provides services to the public at large, agricultural institutions, biotechnological and pharmaceutical companies, operators in the textiles, energy, packaging, transport, building and construction sectors and the wider bioeconomy.
The Institute conducts research, development and implementation activities in the area of the cultivation, processing and use of fibre crops and medicinal plants and natural protein fibres for the development of sustainable agriculture and innovative bioeconomy in line with the principles of climate change prevention in the spirit of ensuring the health and quality of life of the public and farm economics.
The mission represents the main purpose of the operations and development of the Institute, which should guide the activities of the Research and Experimental Departments and all partners of the Institute. It represents a message that is the basis for and specifies the avenues of cooperation at the local, national and international levels.
The task was realised as part of the project entitled "Research Unit for Innovation at the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants - National Research Institute - popularising scientific achievements and promoting innovation".
The project is financed by funds from the state budget allocated by the Minister of Education and Science within the framework of the programme "Social Responsibility of Science II".
